Man Up, Stupid Invalid

Television Without Pity

From Television Without Pity:
"Bobby Jon is barely talking, and Blake can't seem to catch his breath. At a reward challenge, though, Blake seems to be vastly improved, even though back at camp, the buzz has started that he isn't doing his share of the work. Stupid invalid."

I can't figure out who to hate the most on this season of Survivor! Well, most of the people still haven't revealed their major dysfunctions. They all most likely have hidden asshatness, which will surely render their tribes unable to maintain their pretense of being normal, decent people during the recordings of their diary.

Except for two people. The farmer uses the nonword, "supposably." Anybody who uses "supposably" instead of the actual word "supposedly" is either horribly stupid or doesn't spend much time talking to actual human people. Either way, they shouldn't be on our TV sets, because, well, aren't there enough people we can pick from that DON'T have that problem?

From Television Without Pity, (again - they write better than I do):
Brandon ("Farmer" and "Dork" and "Cowboy Hat Guy" and "Language Abuser") says, "Bobby Jon's a tough worker, supposably [sic], so I hear, I don't know, we'll have to see, but, you know, he's kind of a little bit dumb, I guess you'd say." Sigh. Maybe Farmer Brandon would be better called "Pot."

And the other nominee for most hatable of the season so far is: Judd! At least, I THINK it's Judd. I still can't tell these people apart. Either way, it's the one complaining about Blake. The guy can't breathe, and has been retching for days because of it, but Judd thinks that Blake should "man up." Because Judd is a big, tough guy who wouldn't let little things like struggling to breathe slow him down, or keep him from contributing fully to the comfort of camp life. If his leg were broken, Judd would rub dirt on it and walk it off. I hope this guy doesn't have kids, especially boys. I mean, aside from the fact that we probably don't want him breeding more Judds, I hate to think of their welfare if they get hurt. "Protruding bone? It's all right. Just rub dirt on it. Come on, man up!"

One other question: Does anybody else besides me keep pronouncing "Yaxha" as "Ya, Sure" in their head?
