FilmWise Invisibles Quizzes
FilmWise
Well, this is one of those perfect ideas. Some movie enthusiasts love movie trivia and quizzes, especially quizzes that include movie stills (pictures from the movie, like I need to explain). But there's a problem: It's too easy, for example, to guess what movie a still is from, if the famous movie star is in the shot. What to do, what to do?
Gotta love them crazy Photoshoppers. They've gotten into the picture, uh, pun intended, and altered the stills by transforming the actors into invisible people. You guess the movie just by non-actor clues, like the location, props, and the empty clothing floating in mid-air.
Well, of course, this is harder than it sounds, I mean, you can't just apply a filter and make the human flesh disappear. A careful, talented fancy artistic Photoshopper person has to screw around and cunningly replace the bits of picture with the actors with bits (maybe from other stills) that show the scenery behind them at the moment. But they're doing more than that, since the new pictures even show the insides of the empty outfits, which certainly wasn't captured by the camera at all. They have to actually fake that up somehow. I don't know how.
Okay, that was hard to describe, but look at this picture, and you'll understand all you really need. What movie is it from? Well, you can probably guess it even without my telling you it's Men In Black 2. That little suit is pretty darn cute even without the little dog in it. The dog is way cuter than his gruff voice would make you think, in my opinion.
