Where'd THOSE come from?
When I first met my friend's daughter, I thought she was a boy. She's an iconoclastic kinda kid, so she had a boyish haircut, and she was only eleven. Fortunately, she wasn't hurt or offended, as the mistake had been made before.

n.
1. One who attacks and seeks to overthrow traditional or popular ideas or institutions.
2. One who destroys sacred religious images.
Sorry... I had to look up iconoclast, and make sure I wasn't misusing it. We're okay! But here I must specifically mention that she does NOT destroy sacred religious images. That I know of.
Anyway, she's just turned thirteen. Somehow, over the summer, something happened, and she would not be mistaken for a boy now, no matter WHAT her hair looks like.
You know those weird dolls, where you squeeze the middle and the eyes pop out? It's kinda like that. Except, you know, it wasn't her eyes that popped out.
